Please note I have photographed many cemeteries en mass. This involved many, many hours and thousands of memorials. I tried to clean the headstones to at least be readable, but with all the mud, rain, leaves, encountered with on ground level headstones, I did not clean each memorial completely off as I would when fulfilling an actual photo request. Also late nights trying to get a section finished up as the sun set led to a few memorials where the shots are pretty dark and as a result, lots of photos aren't the greatest quality. So, whole point being -- I won't be offended if people want to request "prettier" pictures of their loved ones headstones! |
Feel free to use my photos for any genealogical purposes. :)

I do seem to have a problem that I want to ask you about. I have one more page to install. I have two installed now.
It is a detailed report on his death. Would you be able to remove the cemetery image. If so will that give one more space to add one image?
I spent several days exploring old Oregonian newspapers and at the main Portland Library and found this article. It is Golden. Please read what I have posted.....it has a high pixel count...double click on one image twice and then single click twice to make the image get larger and then smaller. Need room for one more..image.
If you want to get in touch. Please, use my Find A Grave account. I was given most of the Nickels and Catching family members. I'm trying to do right by them by much research. There is alot of junk floating around in Ancestry. I just found, Angeline F. Catching's death date. I thought that they had misspelled it on the Oregon Death Index. It is so full of mistakes. Starting with wrong Counties....to wrong names. It is better now that Oregon State University did a cross check to correct typo(s).
I am sending in corrections to the Oregon State Archives. To fix errors in their Historical index and Early Oregonian material. I just can't leave the errors stay put.
They are really nice to work with. I'm sure that they would be happy to have your input too!
Thank you, Martin Burrell, Find A Grave# 46932334

I found an obit for him. You may want to see the obit. I did request a couple of changes.
Thanks for your help, Martin Burrell

Hi Jessica- I have copied the record and sent to you via email. We are working on uncovering many markers here and wondered if you were looking for any other Kirk or family in this area? Let me know, and I will glad check the records for you.
Happy Fall! (oh I am not ready for fall....)

Hi Jessica! I am just back from vacation now too, and will re-orient myself and send the doc.
So great to hear from you! We have a guy washing many of the markers around the cemetery, so will check your KIRK family tomorrow, as I will be there. If the markers are cleaned, I will re-photograph!

Thank you for transfering my great-grandmothers memorial.

Hi, Eunice Sovereign is my great-grandmother memorial # 71910641. I wonder if you would be willing to transfer it to me. My #47952005, email is email@example.com. Thank You
|Tami||Eveland Kirk in Evergreen Cem in Everett, WA|
Found Eveland Kirk listed on the Sno Co Death Returns, and her name is listed as Eveland there. I know we earlier discussed her name. I was about to set up a memorial for her (13336399), but see there is one for Evelyn, so am sure this must be same person, as the death dates match.
Let me know if you would like me to send a copy of this doc listing her name as Eveland if you don't have and would like.
Working on a grant to replace some temp markers with permanent ones here, so let me know if you are still interested in updating Kirk family markers or info!
Cheers again from Washington!

I just want to say thank for the transfer. As mentioned previously, this was a memorial I had been seeking for awhile.
