I love learning about my family and their history. I have worked on it for 18 yrs.I got my start when I was going through pictures with my Grandma.I will always be thankful for those days because she told me so much about her family and put names to pictures.I also have worked with my husband's mother and aunts on his family which really helped me get a starting point.I love going through cemeteries and searching for family names and taking pictures of their headstones and placing them in my family tree.
It is my main goal that our families not be forgotten.
I try to check al information but if you have a correction or if you need me to tranfer a memorial will be glad to

Memorial #57828526
I added George Bean's place of birth and details on his Civil War service. May I post you picture of his gravestone with his military record on my site,, a grassroots military project to document the 37,000+ Vermonters who served in the Civil War?

Regards, Tom Ledoux, Webmaster, Vermont in the Civil War.

Is this a relation of yours? This is my great Grandmother and I am researching information about her.

Beulah Gowan Little
I noticed my grandmother is missing from the list of Beulah Gowan Little and John Jasper Little's children on Find A Grave. Her name was Allie Delona Little Pollard, born in 1899 and buried at Hopewell. Also missing is Bernice Little Phillips who recently passed away and Delia Little Watson. I can provide information for them.

Thank you,

Brenda Pollard Scoville

Salyards and Nolleys
Hello, I am interested in finding members of my husband's Nolley and Rice families in IN and KY, and I know that Nancy and Julia Rice were part of those families. I think Ziglers may also belong to that clan. Do you know of them?

Thank you for posting so many memorials. They are truly inspiring,

Stuckey family
You sent me info on the Stuckey family a while ago. Some of the info on Find A Grave (not the ones you manage) is inconsistent and I'm hoping you can clarify it for me.

Is Martin C. Stuckey (1847-1882) the son of Upton Stuckey? Currently Martin C has 2 memorials - one says he's the son of Upton and the other links him to Martin J.

Is Martin Stuckey Jr. the son of Martin J. Stuckey & Catherine Van Hoy? That's how you have him linked on your memorial. However, the notes on the Martin J. Stuckey memorial say that their son was Martin C., buried in the same cemetery.

Currently both Martin Jr & Martin C are linked as children of Martin J Stuckey.

I have copies of the censuses and it looks to me like Martin C was the son of Upton and Martin Jr was the son of Martin J. They also show that Martin Jr was born 1849 instead of 1847 (as his headstone shows).

Just one more question, did Catherine Van Hoy die in 1870 as the memorial shows? Didn't Martin marry his next wife, Serena, in 1864?

George C. McClellan # 52570298
Hi, I am writing a family history book and I was wondering if you would grant me permission to use the photo of George C. McClellan’s grave marker. The photo would be a nice addition to my book. If permitted, I would source your name in the caption under the picture. ~Cindy
