RE: Harris H. Holder
Janie, Harris is the grandson of Hawkins and Rebecca. His parents were Joseph Henry Holder and Mattie Lawson. Harris is my grandfather, his son Harris Harold Holder, Jr. is my father. Hawkins and Rebecca had other children, William, Charles and Ida but I lost them in the 1900 census and have been unable to find any relatives of them.

Joseph and Mattie were evedently dead by 1900 because Harris was living with Rebecca in McMinnville. They moved to Chattanooga in 1903 and Rebecca died in 1910 and is buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Chattanooga. When Hawkins, Joseph and Mattie died and where they are buried is unknown.
Hope this helps.

RE: Rev. A. O. Tucker
I have extensive information on Adolphus Osborn Tucker and his wife Martha Caroline Tucker. I would be happy to share whatever you might want. I have a picture of Martha. I am interested in finding out if she is buried next to him. I was there last weekend and saw a piece of marble next to him. I would be willing to start a family project to get a marker for her if I can find out who to contact. I have a copy of her death cert. but know that is not conclusive proof that she is buried there. I would really like to have any help you might be able to give me. I live in TX so I do not have a clue who to contact.
Again, any information I have, will be shared!

RE: Rev. A. O. Tucker
Hi! So good to hear from you. Finding A O and Martha Tucker is such a happy thing for me. They are my great-greart grandparents. Both of them have very interesting ancestors. A O fought in the Civil war and started out as a"shoe pegger". I feel strongly that when the boots wore out, he was pressed into helping with the medical. He is listed as a doctor in the 1870 census. His Rev. ancestor was Daniel Tucker. When you study the dates, come to find out, he is the basis for the song "Old Dan Tucker". Martha and AO were 3rd cousins as her father Godfrey and and Dan Tucker were brothers.
I am interested in a marker for Martha as I understand that there is none.
I have lots more so let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Anita Kay

I take random pictures when I do request hoping someone is looking for them. I don't know anything about them, but I looked up Holman in my cemetery index book for Drew County and listed in the same cemetery is:
Andrew J. Holman B.1860-D.1920
Billy C. Holman 1930
Charles W. Holman 1915
Clarence F. Holman 1914
Floy Holman B.1884-D.1929
H. B. Holman B.June 28, 1870-D. Sept. 11,1910
Hosea B. Holman B. 1890-1940

The death dates on Amey Holman is August 8,1901
The death dates for H.B. are Sept 3, 1900
I will go back to their memorials to add the death dates. I hope this helps. I looked in the Monticello phone book to see if there were any Holmans and there aren't. Good Luck in your hunting!

Thomas Bennett
Was doing some more checking in the cemetery book.
There is a Thomas Pinkerton Bennett b. 1868 d. 1931 buried in Concord Cemetery, Coffee County, Tennessee. There is also mention of a Thomas Pinkney Bennett August 12, 1855 son of William and Mary Bennett who may or may not be buried in Bennett Cemetery, Coffee County, Tennessee. I hope this helps.

RE: Marvney Bennett
According to the cemetery book it states she is the wife of T.H. Bennett. Sorry that is all the info I have..I am doing research on my husbands Stephens side and have not come across any Bennett's or Lovell's. Sorry I could not be of more help.
