Thank you for posting the monument for Private Joseph Custer, 1835-1864. He was my great grandfathers youngest brother. The family said "He went over the hill and we never saw him again."
My daughter visited his grave but she could not get as clear a picture as you have given here. Many thanks. Norma B. Custer Rice.
I found a picture in my great grandfather's picture album. It was labeled "The Custer Boys". Because of the military uniform I think it was his youngest brother and two siblings. All unidentified.

No need for thanks, you are very welcome.
Thomas Michael was a beautful little boy, it was my great honour to sponser his memorial.
Best wishes from Ireland

Thank you so much for your help. I had heard that they did not have a gravemarker, but was hoping I was wrong. Henry and Vestie are my great-great grandparents and Raymond is their youngest son. Do you know the names of the two small children? I knew that Henry and Vestie had four children but may have had some others that died young and weren't ever mentioned.
I live in Lexington KY and have never been to Greenwood. Can you give me directions from I-75? I plan to go in April.
Thanks again for all your assistance.
