I've been cemetery hopping since about 1964, started in Wyoming where I was raised.|
Moved to MA in Nov 1992 and started hunting in a new direction.
Any pictures that I have submitted and anyone would like cleaned and retaken I would be honored to do so for you, as the years go by more things collect on the stones as they do still today with all of us.
feel free to drop a line I'll help in any way possible.
as always stay safe and thank our past for our future for without it we wouldn't be here.
NOTE TO ALL: The unknown dates are due to a name only list given me by the town cemetery dept. Most times meaning that there is no stone there and a look into the town records will provide dates. At this time I'm trying to get this one towns 9 cemeteries online and will go to town records upon completion of enteries to fill in the dates as best possible. Sorry for the inconvenience, please keep checking back for updated enteries of dates.

Yes, I uploaded both sides of the stone.
One side has SAMPSON on it and the back has all the names of the family on it.
I also created a page and uploaded the picture of another Sampson; it was her maiden name; her married name is Jones.

How have you been?
Got your message about Irene Moore and Rodney Read both of Silver Lake Cemetery. Both their obituaries list a child, Marilyn Coffin, and I swear a long time ago I was in contact with one of Irene's children or grandchildren listing all the descendants and they told me about Rodney and Irene being married then divorced. Of course I can't find that email now when I need it.
I mean I can delete the link and just make a note on her page or something like that.

Some time ago, I suggested an edit to link Helen to her brother Carl. Somehow in the editing, the funeral arrangements were included in the resultant link.
This correction will correct that by adding the ending to after Carl's name instead of where I think it is at the very end of the funeral arrangements:
Carl “Bud” Abrahamson of Orange.
You'll be adding after Carl's last name which will complete the link. I suspect there is one after the end of the text re funeral arrangements - remove that one.

Ervin's memorial #45083219. I have sent an edit to have him connected to his mom. :)

Hi :) I just wanted to let you know that I linked Otis F. Brown to his parents. I saw your note on Ervin's memorial. I'm not related, just walking Geary Cemetery where Otis is buried. Happy Easter!

Hello! I was wondering if you would allow me to attach (with appropriate credit given) your headstone photo from this memorial to my tree on Ancestry?
Thanks for considering my request. :)

My pleasure. It has been a couple years since I photographed all of the Andersonville stones and it appears that the ground around the stone has recently been leveled exposing more of the stone.

I am new to this, and very excited to get in contact with other people in my family, and learning my ancestry. I am the great granddaughter of Merle Glen Canfield. I have been looking on Ancestry.com and this site. It seems you have a lot of info on the Canfields. Let's get in touch :)
