Bio and Links
Hello,

I am originally from Monson, Maine. I have lived in Haverhill, MA since 1988. Before going on disability, I worked in chemical labs. I am a 1981 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. I belong to St. James Catholic Church in Haverhill. I enjoyed discussing family genealogy with my father, when he was alive. After my parents death, three years ago, I became very involved in researching my family tree. My roots include Swedish, Irish, English, and French Canadian. I am researching the surnames of Boutin, Kelly, Sandberg, Peterson, Carlberg, Brown, Mountain, Mooers, and Morrill. Many of my ancestors were buried in the Milo, Brownville, Sebec, and Monson, Maine area. I love corresponding with cousins and fellow genealogy buffs.

Rev. McCarthy
Hello...sorry I haven't written back but I just now saw that you posted to me.

I got the photo but I don't believe I posted the Rev.'s picture yet. Feel free to post yours instead. I'm sure the Reverend would love that one of the church's members remembered him that way.

Alton cemetery
I sent a message to info at find a grave stating that you desire to modify the memorial in the Alton Cemetery, and there is no response from the original memorial maker. Hopefully they will be able to transfer the ownership to you.

I will call the town office this PM to see if I can get any cemetery info regarding plot and lot. I was just lucky to spot the monument so easily. Got a bunch of lichen growing on the face of the stone
