|Another Genealogy nut - Just really getting started with the cemetery work. Now that we are both retired we are checking out dead people all over the place. I also volunteer at the Mendocino County Historical Society in Ukiah where we have a huge database of folks from this area. I will take photos of markers at the Russian River Cemetery in Ukiah.|

Oh, Ron...I just can't thank you enough for taking the picture of Val's headstone. It means the world to me. She and I were best friends since kindergarten and shared everything all our lives. I miss her so much but know I will see her again some day....Again, many thanks my friend. You are the bestest....Dani Parr
Thank you so much. You are an awesone person.

Thank you very much for the photo, that is a big help but also opens new questions. I have the name Freeman attached to him but I don't know how. did the stones give any indication as to how he was related to Freeman?
Was he buried with Ellen Frances Deyo?
Any chance you could email me picture of the other stones with him? The freeman and the other flat stones? That would be a huge help to me in making the connections.
Thank you for anything you can do to help.

I agree! even Leslie says she must have a buzzer go off when a request hits! hahaha

Nice to see you on the site again......we lost out when the newbies started scooping up every new request! I'm trying to pick up an occasion one also. Wish folks knew the meaning of " to share". Have fun, Diane

Thank you for the photo of Susan's grave. Susan captured the hearts of the people in California when she was slid down an embankment near Groveland, California after being kidnapped, raped and shot by two murders who did their crimes in Washington, Oregon and California. They shot and killed Susan's boyfriend in a grape vineyard near Ukiah.

Thank you so much for the two fantastic photos of this grave. I took photos of other members of the family in Modesto, CA and even though I'm not related, thought it would be very nice to have photos for all the family. The successful photo notice was well timed as I just received a not so nice message from another Find A Grave volunteer. I do not understand people who need to strike out at strangers. No point corresponding with such people, best to delete and forget about it. It makes me all the more grateful for fellow volunteers who are kind people such as yourself.
