RE: Memorial# 107645789
There's more than likely an obituary in the Lewiston newspaper which give her DOB as well as where she was born and her parents' name so you can link her to them...thanks

RE: Hello Dennis
Hi. I would like a picture of Walter to add to my tree. I actually no nothing about Walter other then the entries I've made some location info and his obit. Frank his son was my half uncle. We weren't very close with any of or uncles I think mostly because of age difference between my dad and them. Frank had two children Nancy Cate Collins, who had passed and Thomas Dempster Collins b. Dec 11, 1947.

Here's the info I have on Nancy:

WED IN MARYLAND

Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Nancy Cate Collins, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Collins of Clifford St., Westrook, and SK3 Philip Paul Gullikson
of Alton St., at a ceremony June 19 in the Towson Presbyterian Church at Towson, Md. The
bride wore a black sheath dress with white picture hat and a corsage of roses. The bride
is a graduate of Westbrook High School and attended Gorham State Teachers Collage. She
has held a teaching position at Saco and will teach in Portland High School this fall.
The bridegroom was graduated from Portland High School and is stationed on the Coast
Guard Cutter Coos Bay in Portland. (date unknown)

My mom thought she was beautiful. The only marriage I knew about was to a black man who was a prison guard. They had 3 daughters who were genius's. Two of them stopped and stayed with my mom and dad on their way to college...they were like 15 and 16. They rode on the greyhound bus. Very little money, a repeating theme in our family. This was two different times and I remember one of them stopping in again. I was the designated tour guide. I remember buying them some clothes. Beautiful light colored girls.
By that time, their mother had left her husband, because he beat her. Don't know if she bothered divorcing him or not. Know she wandered out to San Francisco, where she house sat for people etc. She died quite awhile ago.

RE: Hinkley Cemetery
thank you. so are you saying starting at New Sharon village on Rt. 2? Head toward Farmington? And what Main ST.? Main St New Sharon or Main St. Farmington? If the cemetery is in Mercer, I'd think one would be heading northeast. I know the area, but I am a bit confused by your directions. Sorry.
