Maj J Wheelock Pratt Thank you so much for the picture Ed. I've taken a shine to this family that got split into different states. Time has come to bring them back together I'm thinking. It means a lot to me that so many people help to do that. Thanks again, Jacki
RE: Other people on the Holka stone If you are going to St. John's could I ask you a favor? I noticed some time ago when I was there many Polish names I am researching in one area of the cemetery, but I did not have my camera.
It's in the back corner to the very far right of the cemetery -- section W I believe. The section is all flat markers and has loads of veterans -- so many flags right now I would guess. There are houses' backyards visible from the section.
If you happen to be in that area could you snap a few pictures of flat markers that seem really Polish? For example, I know there are Bestres/Bistres in that area, but loads of other Polish people there. I have been working on this project of documenting Polish people in Clinton and any pics would help me. Sorry if this seems like a strange request, I was just hoping perhaps you'd feel like taking pictures!
