My father's family roots include Campbell's in Indiana/Washington and Coleman's and Rosenberger's in Ontario, Canada. My mother's roots include Newman's and Robbins family in Indiana. My mom inspired my interest in family history. She loved those family stories and so do I!|

Though there is no way of linking relationships for a "partner" just a spouse, I would link them as spouses.
The word spouse also refers to common law relationships and this was a long term relationship and they shared a memorial gravestone.
The real question is how did the couple themselves feel and I would give that likely they regarded themselves as spouses. So not to link them would be worse than linking them as spouses.
If 2 people simply lived under the same roof and let it be known that this was just a mutual agreement to share a house then that would be different.
So what did they tell the family?
If they let it be known that in all aspects except a former marriage they were in a conjugal relationship then they indeed were spouses albeit common law.
So get back to me o this.

You're quite welcome. I must admit that I don't really know anything about this family. I was trying to fulfill some photo requests for some other Newmans and wasn't having much luck, so I was checking out a couple of plots with that last name (there are surprisingly few at Loudon Park). Even though they weren't the ones I was looking for, I decided to create memorials for them anyway.
I will see what I can dig up (no pun intended), including records of anyone else buried in that plot and relevant Baltimore Sun obituaries.
I will also transfer management to you, since you are obviously more closely connected to them than I.
