My researching family began when, after the birth of my grandson Max in 1997, my daughter-in-law gave me a version of Family Tree Maker. As a child I always loved mysteries. I read my mother's Ellery Queen novels, watched Perry Mason episodes and my favorite board game was Clue. I always thought how much fun it would be to work as a detective. I guess, in my own way, I do.
I firmly believe that our ancestors deserve more than just dates on their memorials. It is because of that philosophy that I try to add as much information available to me. Thank you for either your help or your understanding when I fall short.

Hi, after contacting Jonathan and also a few SAC's for other distant family, I discovered he had added and a few emails, he transferred them to me, I had told him no need for a transfer, but with the confusion I understand why, as far has the other contributor memorial that is still left. I do have a good friendship with him. his best friend that had pass left him a lot of genealogy info to pass on and he did to me(an ancestor of mine)... and probably others. he is an older gentleman and travels a lot around the country.. the last time I contacted him about an SAC it took about 3 months to fix/transfer and he was sorry that it took so long....but I do understand about getting this cemetery fixed and if you want to go ahead and pass it on to the Admin to fix/merge...go ahead and do it...
and if I then need to fix a few things just let me know...

Hi there. It is nice to hear from you. It isn't necessary to delete the memorial. Findagrave has a procedure in place for just such an issue:
What if I notice that there are duplicate listings for the same cemetery in the same county and I know that there is only one?
Please use the cemetery fix/update forum to submit cemetery updates or non-members use cemetery@findagrave.com. We will merge the cemetery records into one listing. It is particularly helpful if you have an address for the cemetery (we can add that to the cemetery's record, too). [Top]

Sorry for the delay - I would be glad to transfer the Memorial to you but I've been looking for information on his wife's family for quite some time as I am working on updating the Bailey Family genealogy book and Walter's mother in law was Addie (Adeline Bailey, daughter of Joseph, grandaughter of Daniel, great grandaughter of Bagwell, great great grandaughter of Edward, the first know Bailey to settle in South Jersey) If you have any additional information on Walter and maybe his children, grandchild that I could add to the book, I would so greatly appreciate it!
