|Hi Everyone. My name is Pat and I live in Seattle, WA. I am researching the Lockhart, Cain, Cheuvront, Myer, Somerville, Driscoll, Thieling and Rodeck families - to name a few. If you have information or photos for any of these families, I would love to hear from you.|

Hi Pat. You have a child listed under Samuel and Delia Cain - Denzel Berl Cain (1889-1903). Samuel and Delia were married in 1898 and at Denzel's birth, Samuel would have been 16 years old and Delia would have been 10 years old.

there are two cemeteries here are two links that give info on them
Wood County WV http://www.interment.net/data/us/wv/wood/maddox/
Jackson County WV http://www.interment.net/data/us/wv/jackson/maddox/
the biggest thing I have noticed is that the same headstone picture is used at both. but if you go to the two sites listed they give a listed of know burials at each cemetery. it get confusing at times but it has helped me by printing out both cemeteries lists
Hope this helps others

Hello! I saw you posted a picture of the marker for Mary Morrison Currey. There are two memorials for her, one listing her at Maddox Cemetery in Jackson Co and one listing her in Wood County. Do you know which one is correct?

|Lockhart Stockdale||Lydda Doolittle Currey|
I have a question. There are two memorials created for Lydda Currey. Both are buried at a Maddox Cemetery, one in Wood and I think the other in Jackson. Do you remember which cemetery you took your picture? I thought the Jackson was correct but now I am not so sure.

Yes I do remember Doris and Cliff and alsoyou and Linda.
I would like permission to use your headstone photos on my Ancestry.com Tree. I am not sure how many there are, but the one I am looking at now is Elizabeth Mildred Mead Harvey. If I do not hear to the contrary, I will assume that you do not mind.
Thanks in advance.

I also have a picture of the same tombstones (both in fact). I am so confused but I am really thinking they are the same cemetery. I have a cousin who lives in Parkersburg and another in Elizabeth. I emailed them today to see if they knew. Unfortunately the cousin that knew all of the cemeteries and use to take me, passed away a few years ago. Will keep you posted.

I believe that Providence Cemetery is also Gridley Cemetery. I have been to Providence Cemetery and found the grave of Sarah Lockhart Nicholson. Wonder if we can find out for sure if they are one in the same?
