|pdeneen||Joseph E "mmett" Strickland|
Would you be so kind as to delete Joseph E "mmett" Strickland's memorial from Rose Hill Cemetery?
He is buried in Howell's Cemetery in Mableton.

Gladys, I will get back to you on the Howells. We are going out of town for a few days but I will do what I can next week. Take care. Dale

I have added photos of his grave, with his birth and death dates: June 13th 1829 - Oct 26 1889. You can add those dates to his FindAGrave entry now. Thanks!

Hi. Joseph Howell was my 5th great grandfather. I have him on my tree as having a son named William who was born in 1772 and died in 1810. William was my 4th great grandfather and had a son named Frederick who was born in 1810 and died in 1864. I would like to know if you have the same thing. Thank you. Dale
Thank you, Gladys. Still getting returned messages, but your email came through okay. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
|Sue Pittman McPeak||Pittman Permission|
Gladys...Thanks for the Rena Jenkins transfer.
I was glad to hear from you as I have not been able to contact you through your yahoo email or through the Find A Grave Website since I received your email of September 20th requesting permission to use the Pittman Information for the Georgia Magazine. Below is the permission statement from Sept. 20th. I hope all is well with you.
You surely do have my permission to use any of the information that I have sent you and information from my website Tracks of My Texas Ancestors. I have added quite alot to the site in the last few weeks, and if you have read the stories, you will notice that they are Fiction based on Facts...which is noted in the introduction. If you use any of the story lines, you will want to note that.
I would be pleased to be noted as a co-author, and Tracks of My Texas Ancestors included as a reference and source for further research. If I can be of any assistance for further information, please let me know.
I don't know if you will need any photographs, but if so the one of George Washington Pittman is as far as I know public domain.
I'll look forward to reading your article and if anything gleaned from my information needs additional referencing, I'll be glad to add that for you. Thanks so much for including the Pittman Family in your research. I'm pleased to be of help and a source of Pittman Family Genealogy. I would ask that my Aunt Vera Irene Pittman Sinks be given credit as a Pittman Family Genealogist along with mine.
Sandra Sue Pittman McPeak
PS...I do have some other Pittman's from the Howell Family Cemetery that can be transfered. I will get the list together and send it to you. May be a day or so. Thanks for the generous offer to transfer them. I am finding more as I research my Family Tree in ancestry.com. Again, thanks so much for all the work you have done on the Howell/Pittman Families. It has been invaluable to me.
|Sue Pittman McPeak||Reply to Email for Permission|
Gladys, I tried to reply to your email sent from your yahoo account, but it came back as undeliverable. Email me again and I'll repeat the email about the Pittman Family history permission.
Hey Gladys! That's okay. I can relate to pain. Sitting here at the computer makes me ache all over sometimes but I just love working on my genealogy stuff. Hang in there and keep up the good work you do especially here on Find A Grave.
|Chela||Emma and Elizabeth died same year?|
Could someone doublecheck for me and see if Emma and Elizabeth Pittman actually died exactly 6 months apart? I have a different year for Emma. Thanks for any help. Chela

This one is not in my family. Maybe you sent it to me by mistake?
