Born (William Modzelewski) in the small community of Travis in Staten Island, NY on DEC 27, 1946. Grew up there and joined the US Air Force in JUN 1966 and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant 3 yrs and 10 months later. After the Air Force, I attended Staten Island Community College in Staten Island, then was graduated by American River College in Sacramento (Summer 1972) with the class of 1973. Then attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA for the 1972-1973 year and transferred to Cal State Sacramento for my remaining time in college - awarded my BSME in 1976 and a CA Professional Engineer's License in 1978. Enjoyed a 20 year stint engineering Fire Sprinkler Systems before starting my Video Production business called The Videobilia Lab in Concord, CA. Almost fully retired now and active in my Bocce team and my Yacht Club but still enjoy video and photo projects here and there. Find A Grave volunteers fulfilled picture requests for me before and I want to return the favor...|

|Jamie||RE: Charles Modzelewski Grave Marker|
I am sorry to say I do not know the details, Sir.
I found this at the Neshanic Cemetery. Located 688 Amwell Road, Nechanic NJ 08853 in Somerset County NJ.
I see he passed away in Somerset County.
Would they would have had a local memorial service for him with a marker?
If I can be of further assistance please ask.

|Jamie||Charles's Grave in NJ|
I was out to the Neshanic Cemetery and of all the pictures I took, there was one for Charles. I had created a memorial. My first search for his name was just for Neshanic Cemetery, so I created a memorial. I have since deleted and mine and posted the gravestone for Charles for you on your memorial of him. I hope this is acceptable.
All the best to you sir.

It was me greatest pleasure to photograph this Hero, they buried an old Marine friend of mine there the day I took the photo, as I will be when it's my time, God bless you and your Air Force buds.
