|Working on family histories of:|
Minick, Lowe, Bennett, Nickles, Wingard, Biegert, Janke. Am currently working on connecting all of the Lyona cemetery (almost all of them are related somehow). If there is a close relative of yours, per FAG guidelines, let me know and I can transfer ownership to you.

|Pam Anderson||RE: Thanks for the photos|
You're very welcome!
|Julie Lake||Mathew TenEyck|
I found his headstone and will post a picture of it shortly. However, there is another memorial in the Old Hurley Burial Ground f.a.g. roster for Elizabeth Peek TenEyck in which the person who created the memorial states that she is, according to the Daughters of the American Revolution records, the wife of this TenEyck. (I am accustomed to running across inaccuracies in these old applications for SAR and DAR memberships.) You may wish to suggest to him that I believe this is most likely the husband of Cornelia Wynkoop TenEyck. Their markers are side by side, and are of the same shape and material. They're in my family tree (I spell it Ten Eyck), and I haven't yet found his specific military record. (There are people by this name all over the place in the records.) He was slightly old for the Revolution, although certainly not ineligible, and not around for the War of 1812. If he was indeed a Private, he may have been in the Ulster County, NY Militia.
Best wishes to you!

Thank you for all your good work on the Lyona Methodist Cemetery. The big stone house there near the church, was built by my direct ancestor, Charles William Staatz, who died in the typhoid epidemic of 1887. Also the Oesterreich family, relatives of his wife Friederika Oesterreich Staatz. I just wondered what you meant by "transfer ownership" according to Find A Grave rules.
I have two papers on the Staatz family and all whom they intermarried with, including the Biegerts and Jahnkes. If you still have some unanswered questions I would be glad to do some lookups for you.

Added Ruth to Thayer and posted photo.
Not sure where she falls in with the Minicks but she is located in the Mausoleum with the others.
|Sue Cross||MARIA MINICK|
I created a record for Minnie M. Minick.
Do you think this might be one and the same as
Maria ? Her grave is right beside that of Cambridge.
|Karen Koetting-Howard||Photo Request (Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens)|
I have been doing some of the photo request for this cemetery, and I noticed you have requested photo's for Lois (Scates) Holmes and Roy Holmes, but you do not have any info on them. Do you have any type of birth date for Lois or Roy Holmes, or even a date of death or either of them.
The Cemetery office will have a big problem, trying to locate them, with out any info. If you can send me a message it any info, that would help in your request for your photo's of the headstones.
The Chapel Hill Memorial Garden cemetery in Kansas City, Ks. it truely large, the have over 12, 000 buried there, and I am still coming across graves that are not recorded on find-grave. I also take extra of the headstones around the requested one's, and I am always adding to the file.
