RE: Rotramble--Chester Arthur?
I added a bunch of Rotramble (and related) memorials today---no relation to anybody; just an interesting and very limited surname. Checked the burials at Nocona Cemetery (no record); found and added Victor's obituary, which states he had a grave-side service where his mother is buried. Added his half-sister, his parents; his step-mother and linked everybody possible. The small stone for VIC ROTRAMBLE (1941) is an enigma. Still, have found no reference to my original Rotramble, Martha E. (1874 - 1902). I am not a member of Ancestry, Archives or any of the other pay-sites. This is about as deep as I can get for free.

Rotramble--Chester Arthur?
Hi---I live in Bella Vista, Arkansas and have been adding pictures from Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwassee. There are Rotramels interred there; there's a photo request for Cynthia Rotramel; not found or listed there in their burial records. Thought perhaps she was in Bethel Cemetery in Hiwassee. Didn't find her, but there is a Martha E. Rotramble listed there. Started looking around for Rotrambles and found "Mrs. C. A. Rotramble" listed under C. A. that doesn't even include her first name. I sent an edit in for her (her name was Jessie). Found Chester Arthur (her widower), who died in Corpus Christi, TX in 1979. He would be your "second great-grandfather's" son, making him your second-great uncle. I added a memorial for him, linking him to his parents (William Albert and Ida Johnston Rotramble), two full siblings and his wife Jessie. I cannot locate Chester Arthur's grave location, though it appears he is interred in Corpus Christi and not near his wife in Nocana, TX. He outlived her by 43 years. Don't know if he remarried...? There is a Vic Rotramble who is interred in the same cemetery as Jessie. There is only one date for him and that's five years after Jessie passed. If that's the "infant son" mentioned in her obituary (which is on her memorial), he would be named after Jessie's father, Victor Goodspeed. I would like to put in a grave request for Chester Arthur but I cannot put him in any particular cemetery, only in TX, which is a big state. Any ideas? Oh--never did figure out who Martha E. Rotramble is in relation to any other Rotramble listed on Find A Grave.

Anis Golson Heaslet
I found Anis in Bethel Cemetery, Gravette, AR Couldn't find her last night because I was looking for Aris. Found her parents Hiram & Nancy Gholson in the Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, AR. Her brother, George Washington & Martha Ann Gholson are buried there, too. Also George W. and Martha's son, Hiram W. is buried there, also. I've submitted edits to Findagrave for family links, etc.

Aris Gholston Heaslet
I have added James G., father of Joseph Gold to him and Narissa. Cannot locate Aris Gholston Heaslet on Findagrave. Is she buried in the same
cemetery? Do you have birth and death dates for James G. ?

I replied to your email twice and the emails were returned undeliverable. Message you didn't have a Yahoo.com email address. If that is the case how could you send me emails?

I don't like leaving public messages because Google spiders the website and public messages can appear when you do a Google search.

Montgomery/Hazlett
Stacy,
The only connection Montgomery/Hazlett I have is based on the following marriage.

Joseph William Montgomery, dob 1915 - dod 1971
married Ester Read on 19 May 1934 in Arkansas, Cross County

Ester Read is daughter of William & Mamie (Rolland) Read.

William is a younger brother to Viola Read

Viola Read married W W Hazlett and are my grandparents.

the spelling Hazlett came first as Haslet from N. Ireland, 3 generations later my ancestor in Indiana family, some of the children choose Hazlett and some of the children choose Hazelett.

The line would go from Montgomery & Read (cousin)to my Dad. I am in the process of linking the Read family, also the Hazlett family in Find A Grave.

Thank you for asking. Find A Grave can be very helpful and I do enjoy working through the digital grave yards. Jean

There is a search for Haslet, etc DNA relatives.

Hubbard, Jack
yes, recently someone fulfilled that photo request, I checked my current photo request & it is no longer on there. If you notice, on his wife's memorial, she has 2 headstone photos, the 1st one was just her name since her husband was still living...now there are two on her memorial page showing the 2nd one with Jack on there.

Thanks
