RE: William W. Conger
You were right about the dates. The month is Jan rather than June also. I have added birth and death place as well. Thanks for pointing out that error.

Royzamond Anderson Lloyd
I posted a message for a contributor to the information about Royzamond Anderson Lloyd but do not know to whom it goes. However, Royzamond Anderson Lloyd was not the daughter of Levi Lloyd. She was a daughter of Levi's brother James Lloyd and his wife Bythenia Allen.

James Lloyd and Bythenia divorced-

"On October 14, 1828, James Lloyd filed in Crawford County, Georgia, a petition for divorce from Bythenia Lloyd, a legal advertisement published in the Macon Telegraph. December 1, 1828 gave notice of this. "It appearing to the court by return of the Sheriff, that the defendant is not to be found in the County."

Divorces were difficult to obtain in Georgia in that era. They could only be granted by the State Legislature. On December 7, 1829, after approval by the House of Representatives and after three readings in the Senate, "An Act to separate and divorce James Lloyd and Bythenia his wife": was passed by the Senate. The vote was 43 for, 17 against."

RE: Hightower

Disregard my previous message. I thought you were implying I'd done Laura Caffey's memorial page, and needed me to add the cemetery name, but I see you were just making contact and providing some feedback about our extended family.

RE: Hightower
Hi Sandra

Then no doubt you and I are relatives since virtually every Hightower and Hightower descendant trace their lineage to Joshua and Eleanor Hightower of Richmond, VA.

I will make the addition you mentioned, cousin.

RE: Henry Mack Caffey
I searched for his page so that I could add the info and transfer the page to you, but I discovered that somebody else maintains the page -- somebody named Tony. So I can't edit it.
