|nd have been researching my various families and those of my husband for more than twenty-five years.|
A great many of my family are from early America but I have also researched Irish, English, Welsh, and Scottish ancestors in those countries. Unfortunately many of the early graves often do not have markers and it is difficult to even locate cemeteries.
I have recently moved into Texas from Ca. and am trying to learn my way around the area.
It has been great to watch this site grow and become more useful and I plan to contribute whenever and however I can.

We visited the Mitcheltree family plot yesterday, and the information we found on the markers doesn't agree with what's in the website. If it's ok with you, I would rather send you the high resolution photos so you can see what you think.

In Pittsburgh, the season for taking photos coincides with the busiest season for the cemeteries - March through October. We have been working closely with local cemeteries, and will soon have the maps for Jefferson. While in their busy season, the cemeteries are understandably reluctant to look up a location unless it is a family member, and Jefferson has a backlog of 29 requests, dating back to 2006. If you can contact them for locations for your photo requests, e-mail me directly. We will be happy to get your photos.
