I was born in Middletown, New York and am the son of Robert and Barbara Dolfini Percival. We moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada when I was a child and I am still living here.|
I have always had an interest in my genealogy but it wasn't until 1995 that I started my research. Beginning with my mother's family, I quickly added my father's side to the project. I currently maintain a database of close to 7,000 individuals.

Mark I was in Shohola-Worzel cemetery and I found Bessie Potter. You have her in Germanhill the dates are the same. She is buried with the Haas family. If you establish a site for her in Shohola-Worzel I'll upload the picture for you. Thank Kathy
PS let me know if you do. or do you want me to do it
Mark, Just letting you know that I found John Haas. He is in the Shohola Worzel Cemetery. I added his headstone to your site. I also have some others so you might want to check them to see if I add a headstone and cemetery. Hope this helps you

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I'm actually a relative of Jacob J. Byron. I was including him in the family tree and found that he married Elizabeth Glab Kuehner.
When I entered her as his wife on Ancestry it showed me your findagrave in a hint. I figured it might help you.
I don't know if you have any other relatives in the Lackawanna County area of Pennsylvania but if you do all the marriage licenses from 1885 are available for searching on

|PNelson||RE: Gladys E. (Palmer) Simons Ayres|
My source is just vigorous searching. I found her in the U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007. She is listed under Gladys E. Ayres -- this shows her parents. She is also listed in the SSDI as Gladys E. Simmons; however, obviously name is spelled wrong and there are no relations shown but SS# is same. I subscribe to Ancestry but do not have a tree; I just do private searching for my family.
As to my relationship, it took me awhile to figure this out so here goes: John and Eleanor (Baskin) Catterson were my 3rd great grand-parents. Their daughter Matilda Sosenhamer was my 2nd great grandmother. Her daughter, Amy, married my great grandfather, Horton Ferguson. His son, John A. Ferguson, Sr. was my grandfather and my father was John A. Ferguson, Jr.
Matilda's sister, Fanny, married Thomas Simons and they had a son, Grover. Obviously, Grover's 2nd wife was Gladys Palmer. Don't know what this makes me -- some sort of distant cousin I guess.
I use Ancestry a little but there is so much misinformation that I always verify before including it in my paperwork.
Peggy (Ferguson) Nelson
P.S. Thanks to you also; I didn't have marriage date for Grover and Gladys. Do you have a source?
