RE: Francis Herbert Gray - Find A Grave Memorial# 81482854
No you do not have to take ownership of his memorial. Just submit the changes in the edit area of his memorial. Then the owner of the memorial can make the additions and/or changes.

RE: Fannie Elms
Thanks for the info Steven. Hondo as her place of burial makes sense. Her sister, who is my great-grandmother, Katherine Rosebell James Petty is buried in Hondo. I found Fannie's death certificate on Ancestry stating burial in Hondo, but I can't find anything on find-a-grave about her in Hondo. By the way, the Petty family lived in Bandera County near Leakey in 1900.

RE: John Anthony Gray
I am sorry, but I am not the one who had uploaded a grave photo to his memorial.

RE: Chisum photos
Thank you, I do have several more memorials without pictures. I just ran out of requests for the week to submit them.

Thanks again for all the photos at the Chisum Cemetery! Hope the rain didn't get you too bad, because I know the Hill Country is always very prone to flooding!

RE: Chisums in Leakey, TX
Thanks Steven!!! That was a great find. I do understand about the rain and road conditions!!! We have a few cemeteries here in central Texas the same way. According to our rain gauge we have had about 4 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. Thanks again!!! You are doing a great job!!!

RE: Chisum Cemetery
Mary Jane Welty Chisum was a cousin of my gg grandfather, Henry Welty. Her father was killed by Indians in Erath Co. and her mother buried in New Mexico. She also had a sister that lived in Barksdale and married a Coalson. I just now started researching her side

RE: Chisum Cemetery
If you could take pictures of the rest of the graves and post them on findagrave, that would be SO appreciated. I would have posted all the names myself and put in requests, but couldn't find a transcription listing anywhere online. I may also be beack later on with requests in Leakey and Uvalde area cemeteries.
