|Retired classroom teacher; love research on line; would love to be able to actually go to the places my ancestors live. |
My main ancestry lines are Mullins and Martin on my mother's side and Hicks and Northrup on my father's side, however I have a huge data base because I've added so many side lines.
I also do research for others and have about a dozen trees currently.

|Margaret Sturgill||RE: location of the cemetery|
Thank you. Yes, I can help him and I sent an email to him. I have family buried there and will be happy to show him where it is if he plans to visit the cemetery.
|Mo & Dave Gates||Robert Walker Martin|
Sorry no stone next to Lavinia..There are a lot of missing stones in this cemetery so he may be there.
|Jane ofarc||Stella Ingalls|
Unless I'm missing something I already had the information. (And it's always possible that I missed something) lol
Yes this is the same family as Laura Ingalls Wilder. I have them connected on my family tree.
Are you related also?
|Jonathon Humphrey||RE: David Lee Vanbuskirk|

You sent me an obit to post for Gerald Foland. It's got a date, but not a source. Can you tell me what newspaper it's from?

That's a tuff one. I won't be able to help out all, being I'm down here in Texoma area. Good luck.
|BarreNative||Mary Trombly Tulip|
The quickest match was for a marriage record of George Tulip, listing Mary's maiden name.
I also found the online newspaper obituary of David Tulip online, giving a variant of the Trombly surname.
As far as I know, I am not closely related to the Tulips and Tromblys unless a child of Adeline Blain and Albert Tulip survived, leaving me with half-cousins from that union. Even if no children lived to marry, being a distant relative is still possible. In my Clinton County lines, it is very clear cousins married cousins, and the Tulip(pe)s married at least two surnames in common with my direct line ancestors, Blair and Columbe.
I do the "presumptive burial" thing because it may lead someone to finding the memorial when looking for common relatives and collaborate with a record or stone pic. I do it only on families I feel I collected sufficient data on to make a call, not everyone.
thanks so much for catching that - sometimes my fingers are too fast.
