So, that means that your husband's gr-gr-grandmother and my gr-gr-grand aunt were the same person, Rachel C. Sneed Hicks, which in turn, makes him my 4th cousin. It's always nice to make a connection, no matter how distant, in my book.

Mary Elizabeth Hicks Harrill was my 1st cousin (3x),so her children were also my cousins, and her mother Rachel C. Sneed Hicks was gr-gr-grand aunt on my paternal side.

You're very welcome. I was working on that line of my family, and I thought that it would help other researchers, too.

|CEToons||Wallace / Smith family descendant|
I am a married relative of the Wallace/Smith family who is looking for more information into their genealogy. I'm writing on behalf of Patricia Elizabeth Smith, who is a descendant of John Wallace Smith. She is hoping to find more information about his father and mother (we believe Frank and Samantha Smith). I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org and she can be reached at email@example.com. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,

I appreciated all the info on the corrections. I did want you to know that I did the best I could to get pictures of stomes that were readable, There are many that were not clear, and I did not scratch away to make it more readable, I read what I could. I am glad people are now taking more interest in the stones, this was not the case when I started, and I do keep records, I have two large loose leafs of data. Please feel free to continue to work on these, and I will correct them as I get to them. thanks again

Harry Christopher Lones, h/o Ruey Jane
Filyaw, was s/o William J. & Frances E.
Lones. He was at home w/them in 1900
and 1910 census. He and Ruey and their
family still lived w/his parents in 1920
and 1930 census. These are not my direct
ancestors, but I believe this shoud be
corrected on Find a Grave posting.
