I started working on family history back in the early 70's because I did not have the opportunity to know my Grandfather Hauser. That was what initiated the whole search. I just happened to be living in Salt Lake City at the time and someone told me that the LDS Church had just about any record I might need for my quest.
From my mother's side of the family, I learned that on Decoration Day, you always take fresh flowers to the graves of grandparents and great grandparents. That tradition continues with my sister and myself when I go back home.

Thank you for the photo of my 4X great-grandfather's grave. Your work is very much appreciated and such an asset to those of us who live much too far away.

Will you please put your tombstone picture on this site. When tombstone authority went though, they did not add those I missed and did not spell name correctly. Check your tombstone picture, the name is spelt correctly on my memorial. Yours are clear and precise. Good photograph.

Mt. Zion/John Woods
I appreciate your responding. No need to transfer, I am looking for a John M. Woods and thought perhaps this is the one. I obtained a obituary, on several John M. Woods, in the area, none tell anything to match what I know. Need more information. Thanks. MCW
