Being from Colma/Daly City California, I grew up living near the cemeteries. My Grandfather (Luigi Maffei) worked at Olivet Memorial Park as a groundskeeper/grave digger for many years and my mother would often point out things that she knew he'd built as we drove by.
Family history has always been an interest of mine, from when I was young and would listen to stories that my parents would tell me about ancestors I never knew. Since taking up genealogy as a hobby, I have found Find A Grave a useful research tool. Research is like a treasure hunt, you never know what you'll find!

Rollin Taylor
Hi, when you posted the picture of Rollin and Marie Taylor, Marie was still living, and the stone had her side incomplete. She has now passed away and the stone has been completed. In putting up photos for her, I have also added the completed stone to Rollin's site. Could you delete the old picture of the stone, the one with the blank death date for Marie? Thanks.

James Kinter-Winters Cemetery
Hi Alice..
It's very possible that Jimmy was cremated. His mother was Muriel E Little and sister was Charlotte Brekke. It's doubtful that at the time of his death, there was any family left for the purpose of purchasing a headstone for him. In the event you go back to the cemetery, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Happy New Year!

Golda Mattos
Hello Alicia,
Thank you for attempting to take a photo of Golda's headstone. I apologize for not deleting the request after Dawn posted the photo. I assumed that when a request is filled, it would be deleted. But now I realize that that only happens when the person who claims it..fills it. I didn't know Dawn was posting it while you had it claimed, so I didn't realize I should go back and delete the request. That was my fault. Thank you so much for your time and effort. It is very much appreciated!!
Have a Safe and Happy New Year!!
