|Anonymous||RE: Jane Carr|
Thanks for letting me know about her maiden name. I did add it. Sorry it took so long.
If you see that I manage any entries for CRIPEs who are more closely related to you than to me, PLEASE feel free to ask for a transfer!

I also might add to the immediate left & background of the footmarker (H.McA) are two gravesites that appear are probably related family members. They are "John R.-son of A.M. & M.E. Alexander-Born 1848-Died 1868?." The other is "Hugh McAuley-son of ? Alexander-Born 1881-Died 1873." I have posted pictures of these on the memorial pages for these people.

I saw your request for a picture of the gravesite of Hugh McAuley at Gilead ARP Church Cemetary in Huntersville, NC. I couldn't find a headstone but did find small ground marker with H.McA. that looked like it might have been a foot marker but it appears there is no headstone for that grave. I posted a picture to his memorial page but did not claim the request so it is still available if someone else wants to try to find a headstone with his name on it.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

|Linda Cardinal Erler||Byron Corya|
North Vernon Plain Dealer reports that he was the brother of Lowell Corya and the son of the late Dr. Corya. Also, he died Feb 18th. I thought you might like the info for your Find A Grave posting.

Not a problem, there was a headstone there that I also wanted a picture of. Very beautiful cemetery.
|The Duke/ Rauls/ Manuwal family||RE: Barthel and Hull Photos|
If you need help I will see what I have here when trying to find Elizabeth's middle name. Also on the back of the stone is Matilda Hull, William's mom. It is very common around here for that time frame for the spouse to be buried with their first husband, because they typically bought family lots with more than 2 spaces. If I am not mistaken my friend that works in the cemetery office said that back then that is the only way they were sold.
|The Duke/ Rauls/ Manuwal family||Henry Barthel|
I took the photo of Henry for you today as well as the other buried with him. He and his first wife share a monument, and according to death records she actually died April 1906. His daughter Inez and her husband are buried there, as well as an infant Barthel that my have been from the second marriage or a son's child, I don't know. There is no stone for the infant and the cemetery records just say "Infant Barthel burial date 8/2/1915".

You're welcome. I will ask at church (we attend Tinkling Spring) when the updated book will be complete and how you can get a copy. I'll let you know as soon as I know. They may have the old version available at church now...would you be interested in that or would you prefer to wait for the updated version?
