I HAVE BEEN DOING RESEARCH ON OUR FAMILY LINES FOR WELL OVER 50 YEARS AND I FIND IT VERY INTERESTING.|
MY HUSBAND, ED, AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 58 YEARS , WE ARE THE PARENTS OF FOUR SONS , WE HAVE 7 GRANDCHILDREN, ONE GREAT GRANDSON AND TWO GREAT GRANDDAUGHTERS.
WE LOVE SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS AT OUR CHURCH , GOSPEL SINGINGS AND AT THE LAKE FOR FISHING , BOATING AND CAMPING .
(I WILL GLADLY MAKE TRANSFERS) if I have added your relatives. (UNLESS THEY ARE ALSO OUR KIN), JUST ASK ME. This is only a past time for me and I am not trying to build a large amount of names, I just want to make it easy for others to find their relatives as some have helped me, or I will add information to other names that I have entered for you.

I am trying to find some more information on this cemetery, and wondering if it might be the same as the one first described below.
In 1939, in an interview for the WPA project, Alice (Marshall) Grayson is quoted about several cemeteries, including one that was located between 'the old Wilson school and the Salt Creek', that was created out of her daughter's allotment: "When Lee Pound's baby died, my husband gave some of our daughter's (Vinnie Rae Grayson) allotment for a graveyard. It was for a community graveyard for both white and Indian. It's a half mile south of the Wilson School and about a quarter south of the Salt Creek."
She also mentioned a couple of other cemeteries in that area in the same interview and passage:
"On the Peter Ewing allotment, three miles west of Eufaula, there are a few graves including my father's. This is a very old cemetery. It is so old that persimmon trees twelve inches through are growing out of some of the graves. Al Ground lived there before allotment and as his wife was a Choctaw, he had to go back to that country when she was allotted. I don't know who owns it now but it is one mile northwest of the Wilson School...
The Moss Harjo Cemetery is over thirty-eight years old. It is a half mile southwest of the Wilson School. Some of the Radells were the last to be buried there."
Any information or suggestions you might have will be greatly appreciated.

Lin was listed in the tulsa phone book in 1951 with a person named Dorothy. Her full name was Dorothy Nadine beeman. She was fron Colorado and I read some where he and she had 3 boys together. Anyways, thanks for your help. I have met his step daughter's son here in Tulsa. And they don't know much about him if had other children or not. All they know is he married their Ona Lee. Also, the phone book listed Lin as working for Oklahoma Tire and Supply.

I have a birth date on him. It is 03 Jul 1944. He is the husband of my second cousin. I have been doing research on "Perry's" for about 20 years now and his wife is a decedent of the Perry's. Thanks for your help in this birthday. If you have any info on the family it would also be appreciated.

George Samuel Roberts would be my great great grandfather. If you don't mind me asking... What was your fathers name? I'm trying to piece together timeline's on ancestry.com. I'm specifically interested on George's family through my grandfather's time. For some reason my family hasnt been very forthcoming with history so I am learning as much as I can on my own. Thanks!
I am new to this site and believe we may be related somehow. My great-grandmother was Goldie Bird Musgrave. If so, I would like to say hi and ask how. Thank you!

I noticed you were one of the contributors for a photo of the Salt Creek Cemetery in Schulter, OK. I've been told that my great-grandmother, Mary Jane Heath was buried at this cemetery in 1910. I've found her brother-in-law, John Calhoun Heath, at this cemetery so I suspect that she is buried there as well. However, no gravestone has been found for her. Would you happen to know who has the records for this cemetery so I can confirm that she is indeed buried there? I would appreciate any information you could give me.

If you'd like to transfer the memorial, I can keep track of it for my nephew. Thanks. Angie
