Bio and Links
Bio Photo I currently live in Brenham, TX. I have ties in the Lubbock area, where I am more or less "from". My family tree extends to many parts of Texas and the US South. On my paternal grandfather's side, I have ancestors from Ohio and Pennsylvania. My overall ancestry is predominantly English.

Dual memorials
This is quite common. Oft times the death certificate is not correct but the family will usually go there first. Just because there is a marker in a cemetery does not mean the burial was there. This is a probable case in Galveston Cemeteries with families in the same situation and they are probably cenotaphs. I just let the families figure it out. Since I was not standing there at the time I really don't know where the body is not. Just put the info out there and let them decide.

I was doing a search for my uncle who passed years ago and came across this site. How do you select graves to visit and or locate the memorials.

Valley V Young Brooks
Thank you so very, very much for taking your time, effort and expense to find Valley for us. To know she is buried with he father, step mother and half sibling is a blessing to us all. Her death certificate said was buried in a different cemetery and we are all so blessed you found her.

God Bless,

Albert and Malinde Kramer
Thanks for transferring their memorials. I have updated them according to the information I have in my husband's tree. If I have the wrong people, hopefully someone will provide the information to prove that. It's too bad some headstones wear out and become so hard to read.

Albert and Malinde Kramer
Can you tell from the information you have if Malinde Kramer (#42388316) and Albert Kramer, Jr. (#42388311) are buried side-by-side? If they are, they are in my husband's tree and I have figured out who they are and have found their death certificates which will clear up some information since their headstones are so hard to read. If this is correct, you can either transfer them to me and I'll update them or let me know and I'll send the correct information through the edit tab. Thanks!

Mary Koeke Struwe
My ggg grandfather was J. C. Struwe who is buried in the La Bahia Cemetery near Burton. I finally found out his wife was Mary Koeke b. abt 1797. Also found both John & Mary in the 1860 US Census. I looked in the La Bahia cemetery records but do not find her buried there under name Struwe or Koeke; also looked in Prarie Lea Cemetery in Brenham but did not find her there. I have never seen this name Koeke before and was wondering if you have seen this name?
