The Richland St. John Cemetery Find A Grave site is managed by the Historical Committee of the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC), of the Richland Community. The St. John German Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized in 1878. Church land was given for a schoolhouse where services were held until the first sanctuary was built in 1884. The second was erected in 1891 and replaced in 1925. Services were conducted in German until the 1930s. In 1886 the Richland Cemetery was laid out. |

|Gulf Comfort Genealogy||The following profile|
John Mahnke needs to be removed from this page. He is no relation to the Texas Mohnke/Moehnke/Abelt families whatsoever. I have notified Marylee Tuttle of this previously as well.
Also, there is no such place as Femenz. This Karoline had 2 younger sisters who did come to Texas. This Karoline b:1831 never came to the United States.
Also, Albert Moehnke 1858-1890 can be removed from her page as well. Karoline was his aunt. Again, because she never came to the U.S. her entire page should be deleted.
On Albert's Page:
The following information can be replaced, as it is accurate based on European and Texas documents that I have.
"Albert Möhnke was from Neustettin, Pomerania. He was a nephew of Mr. Roeglin and lived with him."
He is buried in St Johannes Evangelical Lutheran, however Karoline is on his page and is shown to be his mother. Again, she was his aunt, so she needs to be removed from his page also.
He did not marry nor had any descendants so his profile should only show himself.
If you have any questions please feel free to reply.
