Yes he was a Prisoner of War. I just posted his obituary on his memorial for more information. He was a distant cousin of mine so I don't have details. You may want to contact Susan Modell Huston who posted a note on his memorial, he was her uncle. Thank you for asking, it is reminder of what we really celebrate Memorial Day for.
