I have been collecting information on family history for over 30 years and finally have time to organize and expand it. Currently I am the President of the Wichita (KS) Genealogical Society. I am also President of my HOA so that keeps me almost 'too' busy. But I enjoy being busy. Before I retired I worked for a software company for over 30 years. The last 12 -15 years I provided support for our International Clients. This allowed me to see and live in a number of countries around the world. I am now quite content to just get to stay at home. Too, I have 2 sons and 6 grandchildren and as any grandparent, they are the 'stars in my crown'. I am currently working on adding all of the records and pictures of my 'hometown' cemetery - Haviland, Kansas. | |

 | Harrison Memorial Transfer Thank you for creating a memorial for my great grandparents in the Haviland Cemetery. I'm wondering if you would be kind enough to transfer the memorial to me. The number is 80406370. Thanks so much, Maureen | | | bioengineer
 | RE: William Baer Memorial I appreciated your setting up links to this man's parents.
If you have questions about Civil War medicine, you should contact Terry Reimer, who is the reference librarian at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine. Her email is:

My specialty is research on physicians who served the Confederacy in a medical capacity. When a question comes along in that area, she will often refer it on to me. | | | S. Prinz

 | RE: Haviland Cemetery If you can provide the names of the families that do not wish thier names added I'll be sure not to add them. I drove 4 hours today to take vol photo's today at Haviland and just ended up photographing the entire thing. I have no connection to any of the families.

 | Phebe Johnston HI, I recently discovered I drive by Rosedale Cemetary twice a week, and am hoping to full fill photo request for this cemetary. To my understanding there is no regular caretaker here and I am not sure where to look for burial records. I am going to ask around in the area. Your request for Phebe Johnston states you think they may be buried here. Can you share any other information that may help put me in the right direction. Other family names, possibly the area in which she lived? I have found some of my ancestors in this cemetary and others in another a few miles away. The other is actually on private land behind an old farm house. If we can't find Phebe in Rosedale, might she be in Halterman? | | | Dennis Brown
 | Glenn family markers Thank you very much for the photos of the Glenn family. It's wonderful to have help from around the country when I can't get there in person. Keep up the great work. Best Regards, Dennis Brown | | | | [View all messages...] |
