Lyle Cemetery
I posted the photo I have of Beriman Camp. Please understand these markers are in an overgrown area of this unkept cemetery. It is impossible to get a clear shot to show the whole marker. I was standing in the poison ivy trying to hold it back with one hand so I could get the picture with the other. All the time trying to keep the camera still so the photo would not be blurry. It would take two people and a weed eater to get a proper photo. Theron...

Hi Daphne, I left a photo of the pic you requested. I hope soon to have more detailed photos of all interments. By permission of the city, I have taken on a revitalization project to repair and preserve this cemetery. Thanks.

Hi, I just realized that Delores Colvin's birth year is 1936 instead of 1836. Sorry! lol Maybe she is a descendant! :)

RE: Colvin

I have a Delores Colvin buried in the Jonesboro City Cemetery. 36622584 I wonder if she could be J. E.'s wife? She appears to be the only Colvin buried in the Jonesboro cemetery, but it is possible that he is buried next to her and does not have a marker. It looks like her marker was placed there recently. There are many unmarked graves in the Jonesboro Cemetery.

Thanks for your invitation to join your genealogy groups. I don't belong to any of them, but have always wanted to. I have many Revolutionary War and Confederate War ancestors.

I will send you an email soon. Thanks again,

Overton Obediah Stephens

I have walked the Siloam Cemetery in Sumter Co, AL several times and have not seen O.O. Stephens. The probable reason is that he appears to be interred at Siloam Baptist Cemetery, Crenshaw Co, AL. There are at least two memorials to him there, with pics.

Deborah A Happ
Daphne - I know why we are having a problem with obtaining a picture of the headstone of Deborah --at the lincolnton Cemetery. The memorial is set up incorrectly. The memorial originator lists her last name as Abstance. This is an x husbands name -- her gravestone is under Happ just like the cemetery online records show. the memorial should have only linked her to her x husband not used his name in the memorial header. She does have a stone according to her step mother. Please look under Deborah A. Happ. The stone has her name dates of birth and death and the comment "In Loving Memory" and her children's names. Thanks
