I love Genealogy. It has been so rewarding researching my ancestors and finding out all about them. I just found this Web Site and I have been wondering for so long why there wasn't something like this for us researchers before now. It certainly makes it easier to find people. |
I am researching the surnames on my Dad's family of: Cherry, Anderson, Adair, Bass, White, Murphy, Brumley, McKay, McKinley, Key, and Sharrock,
And on my mother's side: Brackeen, Littleton, Brown, Gray, Montgomery, Barrett and Hancock.
and on my husband's family: Merk, Dodson, Morrison, Gillock, Gilmore, Harkins and Folsom.
And family connections of my children: Thomas, Cudd and Johnson.
I am retired now and plan to do more time at the cemeteries looking for gravesites and taking pictures. All of these are my passion and what a joy to find I can now put them all together and to use for myself and any others wanting some help.I encourage everyone to submit their families gravesites to this website. It does help so much when genealogists are researching a name.
Please, DO NOT use e-mails and public messages to request transfers, corrections, links, and/or additions. They DON'T contain the necessary information and will be ignored and/or deleted.
If you have additional information, corrections, transfer requests, and/or links, please click the EDIT tab which is at the upper right of each memorial. Select the first bulleted item (SAC) and follow the directions.
Transfer requests should only be for DIRECT relatives within four generations. This would be your spouse, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, great-grandparents, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When requesting a transfer, please state your relationship to the individual.
Any NON-DIRECT relatives (aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. For these extended family members, you can create a "Virtual Ccemetery" and keep track of them there.
If I created a memorial for your loved one and you would like to have it transferred to you, please let me know. If you are an IMMEDIATE (within 4 four generations) member of that family, I will be happy to transfer it to you. If I make a memorial and transfer it to you, do not delete it and start over with one of your own. If you do, it will be reported to Find A Grave. If you notice duplicates that I have done, please let me know and I will deal with them. If I place a photo on your loved ones memorial page and you do not want it on there, please feel free to contact me and I will remove it. I never want to intrude or offend, so please let me know, if I do.

I just found the Pischner family of Tarrant Texas, THANK YOU so much for posting! I had no idea there were 'here'. I will visit when I can as Leona is related to me. I would like to use your photos on my public family tree with your permission. Of course I'll credit you and findagrave. Thanks for your consideration, Lisa

I am still going to send you Mr. Templeton's obit. Just been busy. When I go out to the cemetery to get a certain picture I usually just snap shots around the area and then when I get home I check to see if anything I have taken needs to be posted and then I post. Always feel free to delete any that I take and add to your contributions if they are not good.

I will have my son scan it tomorrow and then I will email it to you to post, all or part, whatever you think best. I think the old obits are nice to have, and this one especially because the Templetons have been our friends for generations. Thank you, Carolyn.

My sister-in-law did extensive research before she passed away. I just ran across the obit for Amos Templeton in the Jan. 10, 1950 issue of the Cooper Review. Are you interested in a copy to post? If so, let me know and I will email to you.
Thank you for helping me.

Thank you so much for your work on behalf of those who've passed and their relatives who come looking for them. I appreciate your transfer of my great-uncle Fred.

|John Armistead||Re: Moseley Family Links|
Thank you for transferring the Walter C. Moseley family to me. I appreciate the work that you do and especially the Photos that you take and add to your memorials.
I have two connections to this family: My grandfather married, first, the older sister of Walter C. Moseley. After her death he married the older sister of Wilma N. Crow.
