This emblem "crawfish" marks all those who are in my family tree. (I will be discontinuing my work with Find-A-Grave at the end of June 2015. If there is any Memorial you need transferred please let me know and I will make an effort to do so.)(I will continue to service those Memorials that are not transferred after that date)|

I wish you success with your new plans. My families date back to MA and CT. Dad was from CT and I was born in DC. I have been in Lake Charles, LA since 1965.
My Samuel Smith arrived in MA in 1634. It goes further back than that thanks to my male cousin who donated his DNA!!
I have enjoyed our contacts.
And thanks for all that you have done.
Gloria Sunshine LOL

I would appreciate your letting me know your results. Thank you.

Thank you for bringing the discrepancy to my attention. It must have been in one of the first edits I approved without checking. I now check edits like this one before I approve any of them. I do appreciate your help.

Will do thanks for your reply. How are you related to Leland?

I understand you will be leaving the site soon.
Before you do...any information on Leland Joseph Mitchell married to Anna Belle Hoffpauir. His obituary lists four out of five of his sons; the fifth whom he conceived illegitimately with a young mulatto named Beulah. The son (my grandfather) is Robert Joseph Mitchell born August 8,1930. Beulah and the child were sent away to Port Arthur, Texas.
Hoping to get more insight if possible

I don't have the death cert. But it is possible that Ida was married to the two brothers. Sidney's first wife died in 1910. He died in 1923, 13 years later. Isma's first wife died in 1921 a couple of years before Sidney. Ida could have been married to Sidney after his first wife died and then married the brother when Sidney died. Although I have no proof of this.

Never mind, I'm just not going to let her email bother me - life's too short for that...
Thanks for all of your help with the memorials - please let me know when you see things that are missing or that need changed... Anita

Thanks for the additional information on Pierre and his wives. I wasn't familiar with his second wife, but was able to find some information on her and added a memorial & link her to her father as well. If you get a minute, please look at it and let me know if anything should be added #142856827.
Also, out of curiosity, would you let me know what you think about the message from Cathy Cadd? She's really irate that I have Francoise Fournier listed as Francoise Fournier Hebert (married name). It's the same way everyone else has entered the names, so it's consistent. I'm not going to answer her again since I already posted a message on her page, in answer to the fun email that she sent.
I guess my question is do you think that I should not enter the females with their husbands names?
