Hello, I am Charles D. Wyatt, Jr. and I am the owner of the Wyatt Archives.|
I have been retired for almost 3 years after 22 1/2 years as a Master Locksmith & Master Safesman. All I do now is work and play with small engines, spend time with my wife and my youngest son, Colby, travel, study and dig into my family history. The grave sites that I will be listing here are of members of my family ONLY. I will not be listing any other people.
The following are the Counties that I do a lot of looking and photographing: Dandridge, Jefferson Co.,TN. , Western edge of Cocke Co., TN. , Madison Co., N.C. , Macon Co., N.C. , Buncombe Co., N.C. & Yancey Co., N.C.
The photo is of me taking in some easy time back in the summer of 2010 at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C.
I currently live in Dandridge, Tennessee.
Just a note: If there is one thing that I really find disrespectful, it is Newspaper Obit Hawkers .... These people have nothing else to do with their time except build their file record with NO regards to the persons family that would otherwise like to add the records themselves. I could see it if some time had passed and no listing, but to those people that JUMP to FAG fresh out of a newspaper or other obit sources on the day of death or even during the funeral time is pretty low, QUIT BEING SO DANG DISRESPECTFUL !!!
Transfer Guidelines: ALL of the graves that we manage are in FACT our family members and are related to us in some way. We will observe the rules of Find A Grave pertaining to transfer request, however, the requesting person must be prepared to provide "bona fide" proof of a relationship that is closer than our own before we will consider such a transfer. Our records are extensive and we have State Vital Records for most of our listings and such requests will be researched for findings before any transfer is made. CDW - Wyatt Archives

Thank you for responding. Can I send you bio information for John to put on his memorial? I have a lot.

Good morning Charles:
First, thanks for all you do in researching the burials. A Godsend for us long-distance relations.
I would like to request a transfer of John Henry Wheeler (86402456) as he is my ggg grandfather - unless of course he is a direct grandfather of yours. I descend via his eldest child, Newton Byrd Wheeler.
Again, thank you.
|Howard A Sutherland||James Marion Wheeler|
Could this be Marion Wheeler, d.Jan.1865(date of death from VA website - gravelocator.cem.va.gov), memorial #44239565 ? The VA does not list a James Wheeler At Knoxville National.
|Steve Harrison||Temperance Wheeler Kesterson|
She is not listed in the Henderson County cemetery book which probably means there is not a headstone for her at Mill Pond. I have done a lot of work at this cemetery since it is close to my house but I do not have any ancestors buried there. Hopefully someone can fulfill your request. Steve

I received your request that you would like him transferred to you... he is my great great grandfather. Seeing as he is in my direct line, i would prefer to keep him. You mentioned that he was a part of your family... i would love to know more information if you have any on him. I have a photo of him, that i will upload today so that you can have it also. I have a few documents like his last will and testament also that i could email to you if you are interested in those. I have to dig through my files to see what else i have on him that might be of interest to you since you are family.

Well, I wasn't sure if that is what you wanted when I went to the site and there was already a picture. I can get that for you and post.
|Jackie London||RE: Voyles|
The answer to your question is yes and no. It would depend on how long ago she was at ESH. Records are only kept about 7 years. Most records are on microfilm but the older microfilm is almost impossible to read and years ago they didn't keep records like they do now. Under confidentiality laws now you would have to have the person to sign a release for information or to have been a family member who helped with the care of the individual at home. They have stopped us from giving out any genealogy information. Was the individual buried at the hospital cemetery? We aren't allowed to photograph grave sites - due to confidentiality since the cemetery is on state property and most don't have stones. If the individual was there a long time ago we might be able to give the date of death and/or cause of death. It all depends on the time frame and what records still exists. Some people have gotten court orders for the release of information.

Note that her date of death is 2011
