Rebecca "Ludlum" Denson was my great grandmother on my mothers side of the family was wondering if you would consider transferring her memorial to me.

Ah, do I remember you? Gosh, are you the James Dean girl I once knew a long, long, time ago? Of course I remember you, Angela, my goodness! Yes, my summer has been okay, the weather has been a little crazy and besides fighting a nasty cold the summer was fun. I have been riding my Harley but not quite as much as I would have liked. I have been to Fairmount a lot on Harley rides and to visit my daughter's grave as well as Jimmy's, of course. So what were you doing in New York? You must have been pretty busy, take care, don't be a stranger. It won't be long and Fairmount will have their James Dean Festival days! Where did the summer go........

Hi Angela, gosh, take a break, relax, have a few laughs. Good to hear from you. I looked for you at the James Dean Festival and the James Dean Memorial Service on September 30th but didn't see you? I took pictures of the memorial service so let me know if you want them. I didn't want to load you up without getting your permission first. It was a beautiful day and there were lots of Deaners there. Take care and I will try to stay sweet but that's not an easy task for me. I like staying lean and mean on my Harley machine. You stay safe.

James Dean flicks and the Elvis sound these two stars are still around! Good to hear from you, Angie. I was wondering what happened to you, its been a long time. I plan to make it for the Dean Festival and memorial service and have only missed a couple since 1982. Catch you later, stay safe.

I feel the same about English history, especially Elizabeth as well. My daughter's middle name is Elizabeth in her honor & my daughter is a red head just like Elizabeth. :)
I've not been to England yet but I hope to be there soon. The Tudors & the Plantagenets are of particular interest to me. I devour any information on them I can get my hands on, it's gotten to be a little obsession with me. LOL
It's so nice to meet a kindred spirit, it happens so infrequently. Do you mind if I add you to my friend list?
Blssings to you & yours

Hi Angela~thank you for your kind message and I considered it an honor to add a photo of Mildred Marie Dean's grave stone to her memorial. They haven't corrected her bio info though I and others have emailed both Find A Grave and the creator of her site. As you know, Mildred Marie Dean (Birth mother of James Dean) is not buried at Park Cemetery in Fairmount where her son, James is buried but rather she is buried in Section F at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion, Indiana. Many Dean fans have walked Park Cemetery in Fairmount because they thought she was buried there when she is not. I wish they would correct that! So you're married to a James Dean lookalike, wow! I was up there today visiting my daughter's grave (she is buried due west of James Dean only several driveways west)and the JD Festival was winding down. It was washed out by rain on Friday, same on Saturday late afternoon but okay today. Thanks again, take care, be safe.

What a lovely service you do for others. I think that's wonderful.
I did want to point out however that the photo added to Mildred Dean's page is not a picture of her grave but rather that of the graves of Jimmy's father Winton and his second wife.
Thank you so much for taking the time to obtain the photo for me. Your kindness is much appreciated.
