I am looking for a next of kin of Samuel Houston Mount that would be willing to give permission to get him a new government military headstone. I posted a photograph of the old broken marker. As a military veteran and researcher placing military headstones is something I do.

Thank you for the information you sent. I hesitate to change the place of death without proof. You may be right, but I think this info came from the genealogy library and possibly the obituary. Thanks, Jayne for the information on your Mitchell family. We don't know anyone in that cemetery just got a photo request and saw it had no stone shots, for hardly any of the graves, so my hub & I took every stone we saw out there. He clean and floured each stone needing it, held the shade cover while I took the shots and put out the flowers. Then he washed all the flour off and we were on to the next. we love our days out like that. We ate on the tail gate & enjoyed being out in the wood...Please feel free to used any of these family pictures we don't mind we just enjoy do them. Linda | | | | [View all messages...] |
