You're welcome, I'm sorry it wasn't ultimately the Samuel Rogers you were looking for.

If he was killed at Reams Station, there is a good chance he ended up buried at Poplar Grove. I searched their records just now but his name is not among the known burials. There are in the neighborhood of 4000 unknown burials there however.
