Bio and Links
Bio Photo When a distant relative, Sarah Locklin Taylor (3rd Cousin, 1x removed) told me about FAG and I was able to trace my people based on her contributions, I decided to jump on the bandwagon.

I am concentrating on south Cobb County, Douglas Co and old Campbell Co in Ga. as well as Berry/Pearson and related families in Hancock Co Ga and the Barge family. And in Texas, the Campbell Family.

I love to add links and names and anything else that is relevant to the individual, so don't hesitate to ask. Please use the Suggest a Correction feature on the memorial -- I rarely visit my profile page. Thanks!!

Thank you for the Transfers. But most of all thanks for the grave sites that you find and post. You and others like you, who take the time and effort to remember loved ones gone and some times lost, well simply stated;you are a God send.

He passed away on the 1st of May they are holding a funeral for him in New Jersey tonight 7-9 p.m. and then his body will be flown to Atlanta and we will return his body to Georgia Sod on the 10th, Friday. Thank you so much for the transfers. I have many ancestors buried at Concord Cemetery (Floyd, Moss, and Thomas) and your work there has been a big help. Most of the graves are vandalized or missing markers.

I have many other relatives buried around Cobb County and South Fulton, so I'm sure I'll come across your memorials often.

RE: Joel Mable
Unfortunately his date of death wasn't included in the notice.

On the memorials I've created where the headstone only had year of death I've been adding just the month to the date of death. If the death notice is listed on the 1st, I've been putting the previous month on the death date. Hope this is close enough to help other researchers. I've also been listing the death notice info (as you have) in the bio section.

Thanks so much for all your contributions to Find a Grave!

RE: Emily Susan Lamar
No, no. Not objectionable. I was just trying to trace the family and didn't want to continue the line through his wife if she wasn't blood related. Thank you for the information. Do you have any other suggestions or recommendations for continuing to research that line? I'm a novice at this. Got started because my daughter had a school project and then just got addicted. Thank you for replying.

Emily Susan Lamar
I'm a descendant of the Lamars and was able to track Emily Susan (Barge) Lamar to your page. I was curious as to why she was listed as an "other" child of J.L. Barge and not listed on his wife's page at all. Any information is appreciated.

RE: Reid Cemetery in GA
Oh great. I wonder if there's a record of burials. Maybe county or town hall.
