RE: CAPPS
Thanks for correcting me about J. W. Capps. Boy, I sure thought that was your mom. It must have been a different Georgia A Capps. Thanks again, Frances

I am going to update the directions I found in the cemetery volumes. If you put him back in as a request I'll try to go out this winter when the grass has died off and I can see better. In the meantime someone else may be able to try with improved directions. I did read the survey wrong. In 2005, there was one grave missing that had been surveyed before. Sorry for the misread.

Barbara,
Thank-you for the information on the daughters. That will help me fill in some gaps.

RE: ROSA CAPPS,STERLING PRICE JOHNSON
Hi Barbara,

They must have lived in Lincoln County at one time. I'm just married into the family but, I do the research on Ancestry and Find-A-Grave.

RE: ROSA CAPPS,STERLING PRICE JOHNSON
Hi Barbara,

They must have lived in Lincoln County at one time. I'm just married into the family but, I do the research on Ancestry and Find-A-Grave. I haven't been able to locate any Native American Ancestry but that doesn't mean anything. I'm not able to travel much so I can only look through records online. I don't know much about the NA traits as Roger is a "Doc Johnson" look alike.

It is just incredible how certain traits are passed down generation after generation; family traditions, too. I fear the new generations are loosing all the things our ancestors preserved for hundreds of years.
