Trier
My great-great-grandmother and grandfather were Jacob and Jane Trier. Jacob was Caroline's brother. So hello distant cousin. And of course our great-great-great grandfather was Jacob Sr. I would like you to transfer Jacob, George's father, Caroline's brother to me. Thank you for taking care of them.
God Bless,
Cindy

Henry Buck gravesite
Hello--I just wanted to say thank you for entering Henry Buck's gravesite. There is very little info known about my father's family and this was a fabulous find for us. Is Henry Buck a relative or was this just a volunteer contribution? Whatever the reason--it and you are a Godsend!!! Let me know if he is a relative. Thank you again. Happy Hunting!! RE: Gilmore Picture
Barbara:

I posted Harry Franklin Gilmore to Find A Grave. I noticed in the Logan Valley Cemetery listing there is a Pvt James Frank Gilmore, 1846-30 May 1931. Was he buried close to Harry & Lillian? If not, do not look for him - just wondering!

Thank you for being a volunteer for Find A Grave - it means so much to people like me who live in the MidWest - knowing that I will never be able to visit that cemetery.

God Bless!

Barbara:

Thank you so very much for entering gravestone
picture for Lillian Nona (Lane) Gilmore. Appreciate your volunteerism for Find A Grave. Evidently her husband, Harry Franklin Gilmore was not buried there.

Carber / Mentzer Family
Hi Barbara, no I'm not researching those family names. My ancestors are from Blair, Cambria and several surrounding counties in Pennsylvania. They migrated there in 1795/1800. I'm doing a family tree book on my ancestors, and follow the Altoona Mirror Obit section for distant relatives. It has been very successful and been able to contact several of them. I decided last year that since I was looking at the obits, I could enter the obits on Find A Grave as an memorial for those people. Since you are a granddaughter and just joined Find A Grave, please feel free to do your own memorial, and after you do that I'll remove my. I've changed your grandmother's memorial this morning to add the complete obit.
