Hi, Bonnie :) I am not related and do not know where her husband is buried. I see that you are in touch with another member, Jimmy Morris. He is very active in the Augusta, Georgia, area and would be a great resource to you. Thanks and take care. Kathy

RE: Hechler's
Bonnie, we don't believe we've ever been to Welsh Baptist Burial Grounds. You may wish to contact the contributors who have uploaded photos to the memorials listed there. Also, clicking on the Map tab on the main cemetery page will bring up a map showing where the cemetery is located.

Esther Herbein Hoch
Sorry the only Esther I have was born June 3 1732 and died Feb 22, 1785 and did marry Samuel Hoch. I have this note in her file: Daughter of Jonathan Herbein and Maria. who arrived in America with Jonathan's sister, Susannah, in 1717. Herbeins were also of Huguenot origin, thus linked with DeTurcks, Hochs, Levans, etc. Esther's will was dated January 24, 1796, and she directed that "out of her estate money shall be taken to build a stone wall around the burial place on the plantation of Samuel Hoch, deceased". The rest of her estate was divided among the children of her son Isaac. Hope this helps. Sue

RE: John Noll
Yes it was I you spoke with about Klein/Close. I hope you found it ok.
Jonas is son of Johannes and Magdalena (Fuchs/Fox) Noll. Father and son are buried at Spies and Magdalena at Alsace. I have corrected the spousal links. If I can be of any further assistance please check back.
Regards, Neil
Sorry for the confusion.
