I just became interested in genealogy about ten to twelve years ago. Since then, I joined Ancestry.com and found a wealth of information on that site. The older I get, the harder it is for me to go out and find graveyards, etc myself. Finding your website by accident has proven another great source for me in my research. I've already added some tombstones/names to your data base and found several I didn't already have. My thanks go out to those who "walk" the graveyards and then share the information with others. That is why I've just now volunteered to be a photo volunteer in my area. |
In February of 2009 I volunteered to become an Indexer for http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start. In August of 2009, the website asked me to become an Arbitrator also. The site is a very good resource and I hope if you've not been to see it that you soon will.
