I've been obsessed with genealogy for about 20 years and my dad has been researching our acestors and their descendants for about 50 years.
In addition to genealogy and hanging out on findagrave, I enjoy photography. Although I'm not a pro, I get pleasure in just capturing a moment. If you have time, take a peek. The same as on findagrave, you can click on the photo to see a larger view.
Some of my family ancestors are: ROACH, DOUGAN, DeLOACH, DURRENCE, THOMPSON, CHAPMAN, BARRETT, ROWZEE, EDWARDS, CLEVELAND, HILLEY, RUCKER, ALEXANDER, REYNOLDS, BEASLEY, BOND, BALLINGER, WHITE, EVANS, EDWARDS
These families, except the DOUGAN family of Indiana and Arkansas, were concentrated in Georgia around the areas of Elbert, Evans, Bulloch and Tattnall counties for numerous years. Many moved on to Newton County, Mississippi where I was born.
My search efforts are predominately in: Newton (and nearby counties) of Mississippi Tattnall (and nearby counties) of Georgia Escambia (and nearby counties) of Florida Pulaski (and nearby counties) of Arkansas
The headstone photos that I've added to Glennville Memorial Gardens, Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia were taken and provided by James Brand. James' dad, Robert Brand, died in December 2008 and is buried there.
