James Basil Stewart
Hi. I am wondering about your memorial to James Basil Stewart, #40196001. He was the brother of my 2nd great grandmother, Orpha L. Stewart (also known as Louisa and Eliza). Ancestry.com has his middle listed as "Bass". Are you sure his middle name was Basil? Thanks!

Charlotte Dinwiddie
Darin,
Saw your photo request for the tombstone of Charlotte Dinwiddie, wife of Newton A. Dinwiddie. I am thinking that hers must be one of the gravestones that is not readable. There are supposedly 23 interments in this cemetery. I may be able to identify her stone by its positioning and by process of elimination. A friend of mine went to Dinwiddie Cemetery 2 wks ago and took pictures of all the stones including the ones that were unreadable. Don't know how she was able to avoid all the snakes and poison ivy! The heat has been unbearable if tromping through the woods is involved. I'll make a run at this this fall.

Have you found any more information on the gravesite of Bartheney Jane (Dinwiddie) Stewart?

Elisha Ellis Dismuke
Where did you get the pic of EE Dismuke? He is ggg-grandfather. I'm very interested in who his parents were. Thanks for this lovely resource!

William & Sarah Moore - Sherwood Cemetery
In January & February of 2009, I photographed all of the Sherwood Cemetery. I've looked through my photos ( over 1400 ), and there are no marked graves by the Surname of Moore.

I also have the total map index listing of all burials at Sherwood, and there are no "Moore" names on the list.

There are 106 graves at Sherwood marked only by rocks or stones, with no inscription. The Moore graves are quite possibly among those.

I had sure hoped I could find the photos for you by searching all of my photos of the Sherwood Cemetery.

James Taylor, Friendship Cemetery
Darin,

I noticed with interest you've linked two of his children to him;I live near this old cemetery and felt it should be on Find A Grave and am pleased you've used this site. Have you checked Elizabeth Taylor as being his wife? I added a photo of her marker just yesterday but was unable to find one for him. If you feel she is the mother of the children I hope you will link them.

Lillie Fallwell
I quite unexpectedly came across a group of Fallwells today as I was taking pictures at West Park. I am really believing she is at West Park but is it possible that she might be under a different name other than Lillie? This a common mistake that makes it more difficult to find a person I am determined to solve this mystery.

Various 'Wright' Markers ~ Antioch
Don't be deceived by the cemetery pix on the front page. This cemetery has not been maintained. It is overgrown with briars, brambles and brush; and it has been used as a dumping ground for unwanted household goods, mattresses, and junk.

I worked my way thru it as best I could; but I found none of the Wright's markers. Sorry ...
