|Buddys Ears||Reber G. Colborn (1914 - 1980)|
My name is Adrea Scholnick - Miller. My dad, Irving Scholnick served on the USS Hope (a HOSPITAL SHIP) during WW2. When he passed away in 1997, I decided to make a website in honor of those who served aboard the ship with him. Unfortunately, he was army (medical staff) and I didn't have much in the way of military records for the Naval personnel.
Two months ago, after almost 20 years, I obtained the muster rolls for the USS Hope and am finally able to research the men and women from the navy, and to my surprise I have all of the names, ranks and other information about people who were patients aboard the USS Hope.
I am currently researching the patients. I have over 1000 pages so far.
Researching this is very tedious. I am trying to obtain pictures of as many men & women who set foot on the ship as I can to be included on their own personal webpage. Reber was a patient on the USS Hope in November of 1944. (I read your biography of Reber on WW2 Memorial dot com and would like permission to use it for my website.)
I was also wondering if you have ANY pictures of Reber that you would be willing to share for my website. It doesn't matter if he is in uniform or not...just a picture of him would be great.
My regular email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for letting me use the info on the Hagens. On all, I cited that the info was obtained from you. Have a great day, and rest of the week.
From Effingham, many years ago.

I am trying to get the Hagen children all linked to the parents. I talked to one of the sisters yesterday, and she wanted to know if I could get
memorials for her brothers, sisters that have passed. I have found part of there obits, and was checking for info in National WWII Memorial in Washington DC, and ran across what you have done for Harvey W., Warren W., David L. and Lubert Hagen, and was wondering if I can get your permission to use the info in memorials that I will be doing for there remaining family. Thank you, and God bless.
