RE: Richard Brown
This whole Richard Brown situation is becoming confusing! :)

Here are details I have seen at the cemetery. The headstone for Richard Brown is a three person stone.

Richard Brown. Sep 26 1867 - May 15 1923

Edith Brown, Jul 20 1886 - Aug 16 1931. (Wife)

Otis Brown, Aug 11 1906 - Mar 9 1962. (Son)

The wife's dates match the wife you show for him.

I'm thinking that there was a major goof on the headstone for whatever reason.

How about if I get with the person who has the other memorial for Richard, the one whose dates match the headstone and explain this to her. Maybe she would be willing to delete hers in favor of yours since yours has links and info.

I'll let you know what I find out!

Sharyl

RE: Augustus S Thomas Family
Elizabeth, I'm sorry you did not get my email. My old scanner is on my old computer and it is not on line as I just use it for the genealogy and office stuff. I do not have a scanner that fits my newer computer. I can scan the picture and send you a copy by slow mail if you will send me your address. Otherwise I was going to go to the Literacy Center and have them scan the picture and email it to me and then I could send it to you. Let me know. I do have the negative as it was just one of those two inch pictures and I have the negative made many years ago and had it enlarged to 5 x7 I think. I would have one of those made if you would like it. It is very clear. Waiting to hear from you. Linda French

Henry J. Sudheimer & Mary(Briggs)Sudheimer
I left a public message for you. There's a child of Henry J. & Mary (Briggs)Sudheimer, that isn't listed. If you could list him on Henry & Mary's findagrave link, and maybe link him on his grave where he's buried, also.
His name : Tony Sudheimer born January 1888
died February 1963
he died at his home in Glencoe,MO. which is in St.Louis County,Missouri.
He is buried @ Bethel Cemetery, at Bethel United Methodist Church- Manchester Rd., Pond,MO. in West St.Louis County, next to his wife-Bertha Sudheimer.
All of their children is now dead, too.
And could you get a close picture of the photos of Henry J. & Mary(Briggs)Sudheimer, that is on their Headstone, and put the close-up on the webpage of their findagrave spot ?
I hope I'm not asking too much. Thanks for your work.

Message re: Myrta Foster Steele
Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your recent message. I do not have a lot of Bio for Myrta in addition to what you have, but will send you a decendency chart for her parents. As you know she moved away from our area, so I never met her, just remember by mother talking about her aunt. If you will send your email address to me at lwagener@hotmail.com I will send this chart via regular email. Thank you, Lonny Wagener

RE: Augustus S Thomas Family
Elizabeth. so glad you started researching the Thomas line. The only picture I have of Bud was taken when my Grandmother Minnie Gaylor found where her Dad "Bud" was living and her daughter and daughter-in-law took her to see him. He left his family to play a dance and never came back home for years. My grandmother and her twin sister were two years old. Then Elzadie moved to Indian Territory, Oklahoma later near Stilwell, Oklahoma as she had family there. When he came back, his wife Elzadie Letts Thomas Waid would not go back with him to Texas. She later married William Matthew Waid. Contact me privately and I will see that you get a copy of Bid and his wife Lula, with my grandmother. Thanks for answering. Linda French

Myrta Foster Steele
Elizabeth, if you recall, last week we communicated in reference to Myrta Foster Steele. I questioned the spelling of her name, as my mother, a niece to Myrta, always called her Aunt Myrtle.

Today, Friday 18 July 2014, I visited our local library pulling the obituary for two of Myrta's brothers. In both obituary notices Myrta is listed as a survivor and living in Tulsa Oklahoma. In both obituary notices, Myrta is named as being Myrta and not Myrtle. I thought you might appreciate this bit of information.

Thank you for your help and for linking Myrta to her parents and sibling.
