Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born in Japan, thanks to the US military. Live in Charleston, SC. Went to college in Charleston and never wanted to leave. My father was from Ohio, mother from Michigan. Ancestry is primarily English/Irish/Scots/German/Bohemian. Because of some unique circumstances there is not much available about my family beyond a few generations.

My wife's family, however, is from Lee County, South Carolina, and her lineage has been easy to trace.

RE: Infant Mixon
Oh, hope I was not too confusing in my note...yes, they would be half siblings!!! I use the site for working the family history and am pleased with newer documents that help get the families all in order and correct! I always believed that one of my grandmother's had a certain mother in a family of three spouses (mothers)and now I find that the other one is actually her mother!! So, that has been quite a change of mind as well as ancestry!!

Peyton G Bowman 32962643
Hello David- Peyton Green Bowman had no children, but I have done quite a bit of research on him. His sister, Agnes Cornelia Bowman Moore was my great grandmother. Would you mind transfering his memorial to me to manage? i have added a photo of his grave and a photo of him. Thanks.

O'Kelley Cemetery
Please pardon; it is my understanding that this cemetery is in Turkey Creek, originally Kershaw County, now Lee County (since 1902).

Thank you for the transfer, David. I'm finding a lot of obits for people that you listed, but not related to all, so please don't think you have to transfer them all. But he is related, so thanks.

Rose Drayman Smith Glidden
Hi David,

I am Debbie Palmer Allen, Teresa's cousin through Margaret's sister Barbara. Rose's middle name was never Ethel. It should have been Ella like Ethel's mother's name, but was only written as El.

I have found the Canadian cousins and have enjoyed corresponding with them. My grandmother shared a lot of information with me and gave me pictures of her grandfather David McLaughlin and one of herself at the age of 16.

I have also found her sister Betty in the 1930 census and in a number of California directories. It is sad that she ended up insane as did her mother Ethel.

I am still searching for traces of Rose and Betty after their mother left and still haven't found out when or where there father died.

Good luck with your research! Just didn't want you to keep Ethel as her middle name when that wasn't what was intended.
