I was recently bitten by the "genealogy bug" thanks to my darling little brother. He wanted something he could leave to his children and asked if I had anything I could contribute. We have different fathers but the same mother so I told him to handle his father's side and I would take care of Mom's side. WOW! I'm having so much fun connecting with so many great people that I wanted to help others the way I've been helped - so here I am! I hope you get something out of this that's helpful. | |

Regarding a conversation we had last fall, I was finally able to take a photo of Alvin's headstone at Cary Cemetery and post it to his memorial that someone recently made.

| Maria Harback memorial
Hi Sandra,
The reason for my adding Maria Harback to the F.A.G. data base was a total fluke. I had been visiting the cemetery trying to locate a headstone for someone else at F.A.G. when I saw the headstone for Maria, looking a little neglected. I'm not sure what made me snap the photo of her headstone, but when I looked over and saw it, I felt compelled to take a picture of it.
Anyway, since Maria is not part of my family, I would be happy to transfer the memorial over to you if you would like.
Also, if you would like to use the photos in your research, please feel free to do so. Because I haven't deleted the original photos of her headstone from my computer files, I could email you those photos since the ones on her memorial had to be condensed in order to be posted at the F.A.G. website. Just let me know and I would be happy to send them to you before I delete them from my computer.
