Your tombstone stands among the rest; neglected and alone The name and date are chiseled out on polished, marbled stone It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn You did not know that I'd exist You died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beats a pulse entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you. -Author Unknown
Calvin Royce I don't know if you are aware that there is a Calvin Royce born to Wm. Royce and Louisa Kidd in 1817 VT. Wm. is from Orwell, Addison, VT. I am not sure where Louisa is from. In the 1850 census my Calvin is an architect.
Wm. and his sons Silvanus and Sylvester are all buried in Michigan. The twin sons are buried in Warren Union in Warren, MI and Wm. in Crooks Rd. Cemetery in Troy, MI.
Do you have documentation that this Calvin Royce the son of Lemuel and is the one buried in Boyd Cemetery and not the son of Wm. and buried in Boyd Cemetery.
RE: Wilson A. Krouse Memorial# 53715478 Kathy, thanks for your response. No, I don't need him transferred to me. I'm not sure he is mine yet. I wanted to discuss it with you if you knew anything about him. Thanks
