RE: Yates and Bicks
I am going to look to see what I can find picture wise. I have quite a few with John Austin to current, but I think I have one of John Austin with his brothers, which would be your grandfather too.

Do you have a different way to e mail you if I can find a picture ,,, or can one be sent this way?

as to who would have paid to have the new stone for the parish paid to redo a lot of the old stones. The reason there were so many broken stones that a priest threw down into the creek, was they were damaged by a cyclone.

I am married to John Martin Yates, the son of John Martin, grandson of George Loren Yates gr grandson of John Austin Yates and gr gr grandson of Thomas R. Yates,

I assume you are descendant of Thomas James Yates and Margaret Bick Yates, Thomas James was a brother of John Austin Yates.

We still have part ownership in a farm in the Indian Creek area so are up there often. I spend lots of time in the Cemetery taking pictures.

Are you related to Michael Yates, son of Wilfred Yates?

I don't know why Leo John stone has been replaced with a flat stone. A couple years ago or so, the parish had a lot of stones repaired, so donyounknow if or when a bigger stone was in place?

Margaret Bick Yates has a stone out there. It is on her page on Find a Grave web site. Also, Thomas James is buried in Monroe City at Holy Rosary Cemetery.. Again his stone in on his page at find a grave. I have no idea why they are buried in different cemeteries.
